Eastland County has had a relatively stable population of about 18,300 since 2010. It’s a fairly small county with multiple small lakes, including Lake Leon and Lake Cisco. Park Hill Park and Water Park is an excellent place to cool off on hot summer days, enjoy a picnic, or throw a birthday party. In the city of Eastland, you can get a tour of the Eastland County Jailhouse Museum by the Sherriff himself while you look forward to Old Ripfest in September – be sure to ask about the story of Old Rip!
