It was founded in 1870, and named for its triangle shape and the Greek letter Delta. Cooper Lake State Park is an excellent place to spend some quality time with family and friends and is the county’s most popular attraction. Camp overnight at one of their many cabins while taking in all it has to offer from fishing and swimming to horseback riding.
