Take A Virtual Tour of a Custom San Jacinto

Custom Homes, Virtual Tour

Danielle Watson, design consultant from the Georgetown design center, recently assisted this family in designing their forever home in Leander, Texas. The home, a San Jacinto D, features a multitude of custom options and smart design choices that come together to bring life to this family's vision of their perfect home.

The exterior of the home, which features a beautiful combination of stone and vertical board and batten, is as inviting as a country home should be. A wide covered front porch, supported by 4 beautiful rough-sawn cedar columns, welcomes the family into their home. As they walk through their beautiful speak-easy front door, they know they are walking into something that is uniquely theirs.

Stepping into the home reveals that the use of cedar on the exterior is matched inside. Box beam ceilings in both the family room and dining room help bring that natural feeling inside the home. Adjacent to both of these rooms sits the kitchen, which the family chose to change to the alternate version which features one large island in lieu of a smaller center island and an eating bar. The stonework in the kitchen, along with the two large cedar beams inlaid in the stone, expertly match the exterior of the home.

Among the many custom options this family chose to include in their home was the 5th bedroom guest suite. This sits secluded behind the kitchen and boasts its own full bathroom, allowing guests their privacy and comfort while they stay over. The drop zone, and utility room which was modified to accommodate the washer, dryer, two water softeners, and a freezer, complete this side of the home.

The main living quarters sit at the opposite side of this home and feature three secondary bedrooms and the master suite. The three secondary bedrooms share a full bathroom that's also easily accessible from the communal space of the home. The master suite, which the family chose the alternate version of, is a home owner's dream. Two French doors, added by the customers, sit at the rear of the room and swing out onto their rear covered porch. The master bathroom, arguably one of the most elegant spaces in the home, contains an enormous soaking tub, a beautiful walk-in shower with a deco tile band, dual vanity sinks, and a large walk-in closet.

All together, the modifications and choices Danielle and the family made help bring this San Jacinto to life. Smart design choices and beautiful color coordinating create a masterpiece of a home, and one that will forever be uniquely theirs.
