Construction has officially begun on the mortgage-free home for U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Shawn Friesen and his family. All of the site prep and permitting work on this custom home in League City was already completed before last week's groundbreaking event. This means we were able to hit the ground running this week. Today, we were able to set the foundation forms and install the select fill dirt. It's truly exciting to see this home come together for such a deserving family.

In 2020, Operation FINALLY HOME is celebrating 15 years honoring heroes with homes, and recently launched its 200th project. Operation FINALLY HOME partners with corporate sponsors, builder associations, builders, remodelers, developers, individual contributors and volunteers to help these heroes and their families by addressing one of their most pressing needs – a place to call home.
