Leaving the City Life Behind: the May Family Builds a Home in the Country
After years spent dreaming of more space and greater peace, the Mays were delighted to find their perfect piece of land in Ellis County. Among the soothing trees, tranquil pond, and inviting creek, they knew they'd found a special place where they could build a custom home away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Marla and her husband chose to work with Tilson Homes for an easy, stress-free experience. They were thrilled that they wouldn't need a construction loan or worry about any hidden costs - the contract price was exactly what they paid when their home was complete! On top of it all, they admired Tilson's flexibility and ability to fit their needs.
As the May family started building their dream home, they made sure to take special care when constructing each part of the house so that it would be both beautiful as well as functional for their family. They settled on the Nottingham home plan, with a few customizations. also made sure to incorporate energy-efficient materials into every aspect of the design so that their home would be both cost-effective as well as environmentally friendly over time.
Tilson's outstanding commitment to honesty and quality was what was most important to Marla and her husband. They appreciated Tilson’s honesty, straightforwardness, and willingness to stand behind their product. Marla said, “They were very honest and upfront and they said, if there's a problem, we will fix it. And they did. They stood by their word.”
