In our home portfolio, we offer a range of floor plans with different layouts and styles. Our Rockwall plan is no exception. At 2,831 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the Rockwall offers everything large or growing families need in a new forever home. One of the most appealing features of this plan is the ability to mix and match predesigned options based on family desires. In this post, we'll go through some of the optional tweaks that families might want to consider:

The Rockwall plan offers a study off the foyer. For larger families, this space can easily be changed into a bedroom with its entrance from the hallway. Choosing this option will also change the Jack and Jill bathroom layout into one with hallway access instead.
Family Room Cathedral Ceiling
The grand family room in the Rockwall already has great natural light and is a large space for entertaining guests. But if you want to feel even more open, consider choosing the cathedral ceiling option.
Oversized Walk-in Shower as an Alternative To a Soaking Tub
The Rockwall master bath features a walk-in shower and a large soaking tub. Some couples prefer not to have a large deep tub in their suite, preferring instead to include the even larger 128" x 46" walk-in shower with dual showerheads.
Options to Convert the Storage Garage Into Living Area
The true versatility of the Rockwall plan can be seen in the customizations available for the storage garage. If you don't need the extra storage space, there are several options to convert this area into more living space for your home.

For the home buyer seeking more square footage, an upstairs bonus space is available. This upstairs space features a dedicated theater room, spacious open-concept bonus room, and another full bathroom. The theater room can be easily changed into an extra bedroom if desired.
