The Rockwall model in McKinney is a large home with plenty of conveniences and comforts. Some of its best features include lots of storage space, an optional second floor with a theater room and game room, and a layout that makes for easy hosting during holidays and get-togethers.

When your guests arrive at your new Rockwall home, you’ll greet them from your chair under a long covered porch. As soon as they enter, they’ll see the dining room to the right, completely open to the foyer. A quick stop at the coat closet on the left just before the study, and they’ll join you in the kitchen at the eating bar for some fresh coffee.

The central area of the Rockwall is a bright and inviting space where you’ll make lots of great memories with your family and guests. It includes the family room, kitchen, and breakfast nook, all open to each other and filled with natural light from the windows overlooking the larger porch in the back. Our model home, located in McKinney, includes the optional fireplace in the family room. There’s also a media equipment closet on the same wall so that you can keep the wires organized and out of sight.

When you’re in the kitchen, the standalone counter with the eating bar mentioned earlier makes for a great place to prepare food without being separated from everyone else. You have a clear view of the family room and plenty of space to work. For food storage, the kitchen has a small corner pantry, and the utility room around the corner has space for a chest freezer.

After the breakfast nook at the far end of the Rockwall’s main area, there’s a short hallway leading into the master suite. This suite is designed to give plenty of space to you and your partner. The bedroom and bathroom have entrances to a very large walk-in closet, and the bathroom has dual vanities and an enclosed toilet for privacy. When you’re ready to relax, the soaking tub in the bathroom is in the furthest corner of the entire home, making it a quiet and peaceful place to let go of the day.

The Rockwall’s other bedrooms are on the opposite side of the home. A hallway off the family room branches off into two bedrooms with a shared Jack & Jill style bathroom between them. If you need extra space for your kids or want to add a guest room, the study near the front entrance can be converted into another bedroom.

Whether you have three kids or none, every family can benefit from storage space. The Rockwall has an attached 2-car garage with a storage area, as well as a separate storage garage with an overhead door. These garages lead into the utility room and drop zone, making it easier to get out the door and come home from busy days without making a mess.
