Real County
Real County attracts tourists for its large expanse of natural beauty and hunting opportunities. The Nueces River forms much of its western border, running right passed the small town of Camp Wood. Frio River runs through the county’s seat, Leakey, which is a popular stop for motorcyclists. The whitewater rapids of the Frio River offer a great challenge; it’s also a favored fishing spot, and is a nice place to cool off during warmer months.
