The Wimberley Model in Boerne

The first thing you’ll see when you enter your Wimberley home is the impressive gathering area, made up of the family room, kitchen, and dining room. This bright and completely open space is brought together by a tall cathedral ceiling with wood beams stretching across. It’s filled with natural light by the wall of windows at the rear of the home, as well as the sliding glass door that leads to a cozy covered porch. An optional fireplace in the family room can be added for an extra touch of elegance.
In the kitchen, a large island with a sink, dishwasher, and eating bar overlooks the family room. There’s plenty of cabinet and drawer space for organizing, and thoughtful design makes for easier cooking – like a standalone cooktop on the counter opposite the sink. Around the corner, a hallway leads into a walk-in pantry and the utility room, which has space for an extra freezer. The nearby drop zone leads directly into the attached two or three-car garage, making it quick and easy to bring groceries inside after a trip to the store.
Both sides of the kitchen create a loop through the master suite. On the left side, there are two walk-in closets just before the bedroom. On the right, the utility room has a door into the master bathroom. There, you’ll find two separate vanities, an oversized walk-in shower, and an enclosed toilet. If you want a place to relax after a long day, an alternate setup for the master bathroom includes a soaking tub and a smaller shower.
On the opposite side of the home, there are two bedrooms joined by a hallway that branches off from the family room. Both bedrooms have sizable closets and access to a personal vanity in the bathroom. Doors on each side close off the shower and toilet for privacy. This area can be customized to add an extra bedroom and an alternate bathroom if your family needs more space.
The study, normally entered through the foyer, can also be converted into a small suite with a full bathroom and an entrance through the garage.
Our model home in Boerne features an optional second floor, accessed by a set of stairs in the drop zone. This is a quiet and private area, perfect for a media room or game room, and can be customized to add a powder room for convenience.
