Traditionally, the Brazoria A plan features a brick exterior. The Johnsons, however, envisioned a rustic farmhouse look. They chose classic white board and batten siding, complemented by rough-sawn wood accents like shutters and corbels. The finishing touch is a green metal roof, blending seamlessly with the Texas landscape. Together, these elements create a warm, timeless design.
A Patio with Stunning Views
The Johnsons’ property offers breathtaking panoramic views, so they extended the back patio to span the full length of the house. This expansive 40-foot outdoor space is perfect for morning coffee or lively gatherings. A stained wood tongue-and-groove ceiling adds an elegant touch. With ample room for seating and dining, this patio is designed for enjoying the outdoors and creating memories.
A Personalized Kitchen
For the Johnsons, the kitchen is the heart of their home. They reconfigured the layout for functionality and style, centering a gas range along the main wall with a stylish vent hood. A standout feature is the brick-patterned tile backsplash extending to the ceiling, creating a striking focal point.
The white perimeter cabinets contrast beautifully with the deep navy island, which includes a large black sink to tie in with the home’s exterior accents. Practical features like deep drawers for pots and pans ensure the kitchen is both functional and beautiful.

The open-concept design flows into a cozy family room, featuring an electric fireplace and large windows that frame the stunning view.
