Erath County
Erath County has a population of 42,000 and is in close range to Dallas and Fort Worth. It contains two of the continent’s largest renewable natural gas plants. The city of Dublin hosts a St. Patrick’s event yearly, and Thurber has the Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas and an old Dr. Pepper plant. Erath is the second largest in milk sales and hosts an annual dairy festival. Granbury City beach avails horseback riding to visitors, and a number of pubs and wineries dot the county.
